Do you own your own Equipment?
Yes, we own all of our equipment. We don’t rent it.
Over the years we have invested money we’ve made in more and more equipment, to be able to do the bigger and better jobs, and do them faster.
Do you guarantee job completion by a certain date?
In most cases, yes.
What are my payment options?
Innovative Maintenance Solutions offers a number of payment options including cash purchase, financing, and a blended model. Our finance team can consult with you on the best way to move forward with the project based on your priorities.
Do you offer a free consultations and quote?
Yes, of course.
How do you manage such a large geographic area?
We have a combined 30 years of experience managing large geographic areas. We make periodic trips around to our client sites to audit sites for maintenance issues that are occurring as well as to meet onsite with clients and our contractors. We purposely conduct business within a 3-4 hour radius of Indianapolis, so that, if needed, we can be onsite quickly. Given the duration of our relationships with our contractors, we can also rely on our them to be our “eyes and ears” on our client sites.
How do you verify your contractors qualifications?
Most all of our contractors have enjoyed at least a 10 year relationship with Innovative Maintenance Solutions. When bringing on new contractors, we personally visit their site, inspect their equipment, talk to their employees and customers soliciting feedback on their responsiveness (both on the operations side – responding to requests in a timely manner as well as on the business side – prompt and accurate billing, etc).
Our contractors are required to carry designations appropriate to their industry (i.e. Master Plumber, etc) and they must carry appropriate amounts of General Liability/Work Comp/Auto insurance coverages. We also verify through the Secretary of State that their business was up to date on all filings.
How do you provide verification that projects are completed?
For larger projects, a member of Innovative Maintenance Solutions visits the project at various times. Many of our customers do not maintain a presence on each site that we may do work for them on. We have continual communication with each tech that works for our contractor while they are onsite for small and large jobs. We provide our customer’s weekly updates on projects as well as photos taken at each job site.
How does your invoicing work given all of the services that you provide.
Our customer’s receive detailed invoices showing the work completed, breakdown of all costs (labor, materials, trip charges, etc) on each job. We tailor our invoices to meet individual customer’s needs. We require our contractors to bill within 48 hours of job completion and provide detail descriptions of the work that was completed and a breakdown of all costs. We issue our contractors purchase orders where we can readily tie the work completed to the customer and location that it was completed at.
